"OPERATION SUMMER FUN 2004"
Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown presents a check to Deputy Inspector Edward J. Mullen, Commander of the 113th Precinct, Police Officer Tanya Petty, Youth Officer of the 113th Precinct, and Vivian McMillan, President of 113th Precinct Community Council for "Operation Summer Fun 2004." The program in its 12th year is designed to keep youngsters aged 11 to 17 busily engaged in wholesome and entertaining activities during the summer months. The program includes visits to some of the major historic sites in New York City and a family day picnic. "Operation Summer Fun" is a joint venture of the Queens District Attorney's Office, the Commanders and Police Officers of the 113th Precinct and the 113th Precinct Community Council. The program is supervised by Executive Assistant District Attorney for Special Prosecutions Jesse J. Sligh. (7/21/04)
