District Attorney Richard Brown receives "patriotic employer" award from U.S. Navy Commanders Jim Stoelzel and Dorothy Reed as Detective Victor Malone, a Chief Petty Officer, USN, looks on proudly. Detective Malone deployed to Bahrain near Saudi Arabia in Operation Iraqi Freedom. The award is presented by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve to employers who support employee participation in America's National Guard and Reserve Force. Cmdr. Reed is Commanding Officer of the Naval Reserve Center in the Bronx and Cmdr. Stoelzel is Executive Officer. (06/22/04) |
