Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown (left) and New York Mets owner Fred Wilpon helped dedicate this week the new Jackie Robinson Athletic Complex at Forest Hills High School. The facility has been rebuilt by the public-private partnership Take the Field founded by Preston Robert Tisch, Anthony C.N. Kiser and Richard Kahan. Take the Field has rebuilt 32 athletic fields in just three years. Completion of Forest Hills High's field takes it another step closer to its goal of completely renovating 44 athletic facilities by the end of the year. (4/15/04) |
