District Attorney Richard A. Brown announces the indictment of eight individuals in a million-dollar-a-year drug "supermarket" operation which allegedly sold designer drugs, marijuana and cocaine (on display) to hundreds of middle-class customers. The indicted included an FDNY battalion chief, a physician, a chemical firm executive, a locksmith, a hospital chemist and a law firm secretary. With District Attorney Brown is Assistant District Attorney Philip Anderson, who is handling the case. (1/10/2002) |
