  Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown describes the main defendant's alleged "role" in the $1 million-a-year drug ring that supplied their customers with cocaine and marijuana as well as heroin and Ecstasy pills. He identified the defendant as an actor who portrayed an NYPD officer in "Shaft" and appeared in numerous episodes of "Third Watch" and "Law and Order." (5/14/2002)
