Dinkins, congratulates the Annual Say No to Violence Week essay and poster contest winners at P.S. 215 in Far Rockaway after he presented each winner with a $50 U.S. Savings Bond. Tyquan Lee (left), 11, was the winner of the essay contest while Jacquan Heard (left-front), 6, and Alexa Aquilar (center), 10, were winners of the poster contest. The week-long event is part of the of STAR Track, an anti-violence program in all Far Rockaway schools which runs throughout the school year.
