Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown swore-in 18 recent law school graduates as new Assistant District Attorneys during a ceremony last week. The young men and women were hired after a highly selective recruitment process that District Attorney Brown established soon after becoming the District Attorney. District Attorney Brown said that the new Assistant District Attorneys are bright young professionals from some of the nation’s finest law schools who have elected to enter public service. "I am proud to appoint them to serve the people of Queens County," said District Attorney Brown. "I know that they will serve with distinction." (8/31/01)
