Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown underwent coronary bypass surgery this morning at New York University Medical Center. The surgery was performed on a non-emergency basis by Dr. Aubrey C. Galloway, Director of Surgical Research and Professor of Surgery at NYU Medical Center.

It is anticipated that District Attorney Brown will be released from the hospital early next week. He is resting comfortably and is expected to recover fully.
